Support - Site Service Facilities and Training
Site service facilities and training are available to mobilize on a worldwide basis ensuring that the system supplied is commissioned to deliver its full design potential. Vodec are also able to offer specialist engineering expertise to ensure the system meets prevailing standards and hazardous area certification.
These Services Include;
Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance
Vodec provides professional site support services to install, supervise, commission and maintain the customer's public address and communication systems.
Equipped with the necessary tools and instruments, our experienced engineers are fully trained in working practices on and offshore, UK mainland and waters, and overseas, industrial, commercial and petrochemical sites. Our personnel are UKOOA Certified and fully insured enabling them to work safely on your site.
Training
Planned Preventative Maintenance and Training are other vital services upon which our customers can be guided. This latter service for personnel and operators can be carried out at our premises or on site. All these facilities ensure a smooth transition between Factory Acceptance Testing and the official hand-over of the system on site.
Acoustic Survey
The correct quantity, type placement and power setting of the loudspeakers covering the target area dominate the effectiveness of any PAGA package. In order to ensure the necessary safe coverage to the appropriate British Standards, Vodec is able to execute the necessary study to ensure the effectiveness of the system.
Third Party Equipment
We support and maintain systems from a variety of sources.

Training Company Petans Ltd uses Vodec PAGA System for Training.
These two pictures show a section of the training facilities at Petans Ltd, the well known offshore training establishment located in Norfolk, England. Many engineers destined to work in the offshore oil & gas industry obtain the necessary certifications essential to work offshore from the excellent training facilities they offer. Vodec donated a demonstration system in 2006 to assist Petans to familiarise their UKOOA trainees with the Vodec state of the art life safety communication systems they will encounter once they are in the field.
